Neoprene rubber

Neoprene rubber is formed by polymerization of neoprene monomer. It is a polar rubber between saturation and unsaturated. The vulcanized rubber has relatively good ozone resistance (better than NR, SBR, NBR, worse than EPDM, IIR), weather resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and aging resistance. At the same time, it also has good mechanical properties, flame retardant and good wear resistance, low temperature elasticity, good resistance to distortion, resistance to dichlorodifluoromethyl methane and ammonia refrigerant, dilute acid resistance, resistance to silicone ester lubricating oil, but not resistant to phosphate ester hydraulic oil, easy crystallization at low temperature, hardening, poor storage stability, in the mineral oil with low aniline point expansion.
Temperature range: -40¡æ ~ 100¡æ, short time up to 125¡æ

Advantages:
¡¤ Good elasticity and good compressive property
¡¤ The recipe contains no sulfur and is very easy to make
¡¤ Resist animal and vegetable oils
Physical properties are not affected by fat, fat, multiple oils and solvents
¡¤ Flame retardant characteristics
¡¤ Suitable for making all kinds of parts directly in contact with atmosphere, sunlight and ozone
¡¤ Suitable for all kinds of rubber products with fire and chemical corrosion resistance
¡¤ Rubber parts or seals for household appliances
¡¤ Seals resistant to R12 refrigerant
Disadvantages:
¡¤ It is not recommended to be used in chemicals such as strong acids, nitrohydrocarbons, esters, chloroforms and ketones.

Applicable media:
¡¤ Low DPI mineral oil, such as ASTM 1 oil
Glycol-based brake oil, a variety of organic and inorganic acids
¡¤ Silicone oil and silicone ester
¡¤ Lower temperature water and aqueous solution
¡¤ Refrigerant
¡¤ Ammonia
¡¤ Carbon dioxide
Limited applicable media:
¡¤ Naphthalene mineral oil (IRM902 oil and IRM903 oil)
¡¤ Small molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons (propane, butane, fuel oil)
¡¤ Glycol-based brake fluid
Not suitable for media:
¡¤ Aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene)
¡¤ Chlorinated hydrocarbons (trichloroethane)
¡¤ Polar solvents (alcohols, ketones, esters)
